The Dawning of a Song of Praise
Morning awakens, a new day begins
The SON shines with the hope of promises waiting to unfold.
As the sun kisses the tips of all it meets, its reflection scatters broadly in a bold display of beauty.
The reflection distributes love, widening the circle of its rays deeper, farther and higher.
All of nature joins in the song of praise…
Petals uncurl inviting us to soak in the richness of their colors,
Animals stretch and yawn,
The dew soaks in the light hungrily,
Birds chirp their song in response.
All of nature receives the light of day, accepting the gift of love, knowing it is theirs to share.
In the posture of receiving, all of nature opens itself to God’s glory.
The open stance invites God into its midst,
Pouring into all of mankind His grace, hope and love.
A carefully chosen gift rich in blessings from Our Creator.
[Tweet “Love pours forth in a song of praise, a defining path of welcoming footsteps calls us to grace.”]
The gift of love pours forth in a song of praise,
Playing in rich harmony as God’s creation is recognized.
The woven tapestry of intricate layers shines through and we bow down deep with gratefulness.
The gift of love dawns with the SON each day leaving fingerprints of mercy, forgiveness and redemption.
A defining path of welcoming footsteps calls us to grace
God’s gift, our path as His children, a beautiful love given through the sacrifice of His SON.
Day ending, thankfulness ever on our lips, a song of praise lifted as the last light fades.
Praise the Lord with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
4 For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. Psalm 33:2-4
Sabbath blessings as we say goodbye to one week and wait expectantly for the new one to unfold!
