One road less traveled
Bumps, hills, twists and turns
One lone person, one bike
Cool air in face-now a strong breeze
Wheels turning, bike flying
FREEDOM
Our freedom is in the Spirit! If we continue to read 2 Corinthians 3, this is what we see:
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Riding a bike is a great visual for soaking in God’s glory. The sense of freedom – of flying – of facing fears uninhibited is a beautiful way to receive God’s glory. Our unveiled faces turned toward Him in acceptance and openness – now that’s freedom!
Today, reflect on the freedom you receive in knowing God. How will you remain open to His Word and truths? Will you allow yourself to be transformed by the Spirit?
