My Laundry Story
Wash, spin, dry.. wash, spin, dry… Ordinary days, Ordinary nights, wash, spin, dry!
When will our days become more? When will the ordinary become extraordinary? Just as doing laundry has a predictable routine, our lives can also feel much the same.
Ordinary! Extraordinary!
Mundane or more!
The choice is ours to make. Our lives do not need to be predictable. Allow change to occur from the inside out. How you ask?
Open your hearts to God and His gifts. Open your minds to all that He can offer. His love, peace, strength and grace can all be yours.
Allow Him to enter and change your mundane into more- your ordinary into extraordinary!
Just say “yes” and watch the transformation of your life happen from the inside out!

Yes so true – finding the treasures or gifts in all the mundane parts of lives – like enjoying the good smell of my freshly cleaned laundry, and savoring the residual warmth from the dryer that lingers for a while is just simply sweet. But – if I do not stop to notice those things, or allow that happiness from seeing my piles of folded laundry fill me with a sense of accomplishment – then it seems laundry is just a never ending chore. It is all in our Seeing. What we choose to See can transform the ordinary & mundane into beautiful gifts of His generous grace.
Amen! Your words remind me to take the time each day to thank God for all blessings even in the most ordinary moments.
I absolutely love this post. My heart is open to God’s choice and your words ring true. Transformation!
May we all feel transformation each day because our eyes are on Jesus and our hearts are open to His truths! Thanks for stopping by!
I think laundry is extraordinary! I am so grateful to technology that lets me easily wash and dry my clothes. I am grateful that I don’t have to wash everything by hand. I am grateful that I have an ordinary life with an extraordinary God. That is always enough.
Amen, Pattyann! Thank you for stopping by! Blessings to you today!
