We made it!!!! Today is day 31 and it marks the end of our journey together. Thank you for bravely following along or popping in when you could to read, join in the conversation and encourage me along the way. You all are an amazing community who cheered me on and helped me accomplish my goal of writing for 31 days. Whew! The last few weeks have been a struggle, but you never gave up on me and I can say I learned a lot about myself and being brave in the process. I pray you all came away with some answers, new brave ideas, how brave looks for you and what you might do next to continue the journey in your own life. Brave never ends even though we are saying goodbye to 31 days of writing about brave.
Over the course of this passage to brave faith, we covered many aspects of brave. As I began this brave journey of writing 31 days, I bought this wall hanging. Carefully read over the words and let them soak into your heart. I read these words every morning to myself and believe I am braver than I know. Do you believe you are braver than you know?
When fear is whispering into your ear, will you release it back to God?
When one more step is the biggest brave step you take, will you leap into the water and swim hard after Jesus?
When saying yes means choosing God over your agenda, can you stay strong and let Him lead the way?
When your whole being screams no, but God says yes, will you let Him transform your no into His beautiful yes?
When brave means staying right where you are and your dreams are pushed aside, will you stay true to who you are and who God is calling you to be in your life’s journey?
You are braver than you know. Each day we make brave decisions in the daily routines, the challenges and every time we choose to step out of our comfort zones. Each brave decisions leads us one step closer to letting God take charge of our lives. It is trusting God’s truths over our own. Brave happens everyday and strengthens us to be who God always knew we would be.

May these words from Ephesians strengthen you along your brave journey and remind you of God’s endless love for you.
14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,[e] 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:14-19 NLT
And one more quote from Annie Downs in Let’s All Be Brave to send us on our way. This was too good to pass up.
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet
and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 NLT
Let’s all be brave along the way! We can do this together!
Mary
Congratulations for completing the #write31days challenge! Thanks for your encouragement and kind comments on my blog as well. This post reminds me of a graphic I saw recently with a quote from Aslan in the Narnia series: “Courage, dear heart.”
Great quote, Barbara. I really enjoyed getting to know you better through this challenge. It’s nice to make new friends along the way. Congrats to you too, my friend!
Mary, I’ve really enjoyed discovering your blog and reading your posts in this series. Thank you for all your writing and well done for making it to the end of 31 days!
Well done, Mary, you made it!! It’s been quite a journey, hasn’t it? I could only manage to write for 20 out of the 31 days but it taught me a lot about being brave as I trusted inspiration and words would come through my weakness. These words sum up where I’m at in this season and are ones I need to ponder more deeply on:”When brave means staying right where you are and your dreams are pushed aside, will you stay true to who you are and who God is calling you to be in your life’s journey?” I hope to be able to say a courageous yes to this in due time!
Thank you for offering us such manna for our souls. I’ve loved all the posts you’ve put out here. The graphic is beautiful. I’ve pinned it onto my ‘hope and encouragement’ board as a permanent reminder. Bless you, friend. You deserve a well-earned rest now! 🙂 <3
Congratulations! This post was such an encouragement to me today. Thank you for sharing. I have pinned your series as one to come back and read more of as I have more time. It speaks to my heart.
Beautiful wall hanging. And yes we are indeed braver than we know! Congrats on making it all 31 days.
Congrats to you too! That wall hanging has been my saving grace (see what I did there :)) Loved having you along for this journey.
you have posted my favourite scripture today !
I am just stopping by to thank you for your month of being brave…it has been a blessing to journey with you and to grow some bravery in my heart, too.
God bless you and may you continue to grow in bravery even though your focus may shift.
Love,
Mary in New Zealand.
You are such a dear Mary! Thank you for joining me for this journey. It has been quite the ride for me. Every time I thought I was blessing someone else with my words, I found out that God was really blessing me. Have a blessed weekend.
Congratulations! We did it! We were brave to even try! God bless!!!
Here’s to brave writing and sticking with it for 31 days. Glad to have you joining me along the way. Blessings!
Such a good reminder where our strength comes from and the bravery in our heart glow because of it. Blessings ~ Chris.
What a beautiful surprise to see you here today, Chris! Praying you are doing well! May we all know without a doubt that God is our source of bravery and we are stronger when we choose to do life with Him. Blessings to you friend!
Love your wall hanging and the words it shares! Thanks for your powerful post on this subject: “you are braver than you know”! This is so true…appreciate your helping us to find our brave as you sought yours!
This month is over…now what?! Continue writing, of course!
You said something that it took me awhile to figure out for myself. You said you appreciate me helping you find brave as I sought my own brave. That is truth my friend! I didn’t realize how much I needed this series for myself. Thank you for being here and congrats to you for finishing well.
I really loved your post and graphic so much I pinned it to my Pinterest board for Hope4Caregivers. You have done an amazing job at refocusing our thoughts on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith instead of on our fears. Congrats on finishing strong!
I have loved having you here, Karen! Thank you for pinning my graphic and for just being so encouraging. I have learned so much about caregiving from you and look forward to seeing you around the blogging world. So glad we both made it to the end.
“When brave means staying right where you are and your dreams are pushed aside, will you stay true to who you are and who God is calling you to be in your life’s journey?”
This is the true test! Wonderful series, I missed some days but everything I read was excellent, and always well put together. Proofreaders notice things like that!!!
Enjoy the rest!
I am so glad I passed your proofreading test. I was worried that my posts this past week were not even coherent. but I kept pushing publish anyway. So glad we were on this journey together. It has been a blessing having friends along for the ride. Rest this weekend!
I used the same prayer from Ephesians to end my study, Mary! I just love that – I’m so proud of you, my brave friend! It was a busy month, wasn’t it? But full of blessing! I will be catching up on the posts I missed. Such a good series, my friend!! We did it!
Yay we did it! I have been so blessed to have you join me along the way. I will be stopping by your place to catch up also. So glad we both used the prayer from Ephesians. It really spoke to me and encouraged me as I wrote the last post. Praying your weekend is blessed!
